The poem Man vs Nature by Norman Littleford highlight the conflict between human beings and natural world. The poet describe thunder and lightning as a warning given by Nature against human interference and abuses. Though people admire the beauty of Nature, they selfish exploit her resources without give anything back. Humans is constantly expanding land in the name of progress, and this growth harm Nature and prevent her from flourishing. The poem clearly remind us that human greed and carelessness is destroying the balance of Nature and urges us to respect and protect her.
