3. Complex Sentence

➡ One independent clause + one or more dependent clauses (using subordinating conjunctions like, (since, because, although, if, when, before, after, while, unless, until, etc.).

Example:

  • I stayed home because it was raining.
  • Although he was tired, he finished his homework.
