May and Might Drag and Drop Exercise

May, May Not, Might, Might Not:

1. May – Shows possibility or permission.

  • Example: It may rain today. (Possibility)
  • Example: You may go outside. (Permission)

2. May Not – Shows something is not allowed or less possible.

  • Example: You may not use your phone in class. (Not allowed)
  • Example: She may not come to the party. (Less possible)

3. Might – Shows a weaker possibility (less sure than "may")

  • Example: He might visit us tomorrow. (Not sure)
  • Example: I might need help with homework. (Not sure)

4. Might Not – Shows something is less likely to happen.

  • Example: She might not like this food. (Less likely)
  • Example: The bus might not arrive on time. (Less likely)

Tip: May and Might are similar, but 'Might' sounds less sure.
